When uninstalling Adobe applications the first thing to know is that uninstalling an individual Adobe Creative Cloud application (eg Acrobat/Photoshop) does not remove the Creative Cloud Desktop application. This makes it easy to add steps before and/or after running the setup.exe and allows you to use multiple commands for uninstalling Creative Cloud. I recommend you use a batch file/script or the PowerShell AppDeploy Toolkit to package the Adobe applications. Has anyone come across this?Įdit: After searching some more I found this link:
Running that executable gives a GUI for repair or uninstall, as I want a silent uninstall I cannot find anything for SCCM for a silent uninstall. If I search my registry which has CC installed, in the following location I would like users to be able to uninstall however, i cannot find the GUID of Adobe CC only Adobe DC. I've downloaded the package from the Adobe Admin portal however during the configuration i'm up to the section to set installation\uninstall program. I'm trying to create an application in SCCM to deploy Adobe CC with Adobe DC. There seems to be a lot of outdated articles around deploying Adobe CC via SCCM. As a general rule, if someone has flair, they almost definitely know what they're talking about.
